Alpha suggestions & improvements

The motions and shapes needed to make potions and spells are a little off. Or some might read them different. Perhaps add arrows next to the shape so people know where to start for the shape or allowing people to choose where to start on a shape without being pentalized (making it work).

I dont know how spawns are working for everyone else (especially rural), but I'm in a pretty scenic mountainous area that has none at all. The algorithm might need some work.

Or beta or sometime you could add proposal/spawn adding system (there's been a lot of different ideas on how to do this suggested) to see how it works out.

Also the way you turn your view in the map is a little odd (I think finger motions and rotation are switched)

Creatures and ingredients don't spawn because of Google's API limitation. We know about the issue.

I was walking with Maguss and really enjoyed it! I really can see  the potential of this game when it'll run smoothly.
I like a lof of egg hatching idea of PoGo. Is there planned some walking-distance-based functions?

Maybe instead of the potion ingredient glyphs being pass/fail, they could have a certain percent of accuracy that affect how strong the potion is.

Someone mentioned before that we should be able to heal when we log off. What if we could mark a home base, i.e. our houses or offices and whatnot, where our wizard can gradually regain health. Maybe if we die in a dungeon, we have to go back to our home base before we can be revived. I'm just spitballing here. The home base could be called a wizard workshop or lair or something. There could be a caveat so that you can only change your base location once a week to prevent people from cheating, but still allow them to find the best place.

Also, I know we're in barebones alpha, but I just want to say I would love to be able to customize the avatar that appears during fights, especially if the color of their robes corresponded to their guild.

I'm gonna describe some of the stuff I found going through my head while playing today. Some are most likely bugs, some are improvements I feel should be made and a few is just very small things that could be changed.

1. Make the back button on android phones usable while in the game, I have just been used to pressing that while in a game instead of pressing the X or something close to that.

2. Map improvements. Be able to zoom out and zoom in a bit while on the map. I find the map really blurry too for some reason it's all pixelated for me, also the colours are a bit bland maybe try and shade some different colours together. Didn't want to talk about Pokemon Go, but they do a good job with the different shades of green. If it's possible it would also be nicer to have wider roads and buildings too. This should be very low priority of course, but it would make the game feel more alive. Also maybe have a option to make the icons be more 3D in the future. So instead of the leaf icon it would be actual leafs and berries on the ground...

3. I think I had a tie once in a duel, but it said I lost. If it is actually possible to get a tie then make sure that it says that.

4. While playing there was a lot of times where the buttons were very unresponsive, especially the accept duel and cancel duel buttons.

5. There was one time where I was confused why I couldn't do anything and it was because of the draw scan gesture button. I know text appears when you press it, but it would be a big help if the button itself also changed a bit when pressed.

6. When you enter a fight I noticed that the whole screen isn't used optimally, since the lower part is only a single button. I would make the duel itself fill the entire screen and then replace the weapon shields at the side with the small button.

7. I was confused with the quest a lot. First I read the quest and then tried doing it by crafting those 3 potions. It didn't work out and I found out you have to accept the quest first, then I crafted another 3 potions and tried to get my reward. Let me just say that I never got the reward. Can you make the quest auto submit and auto update?

8. I lost a lot of health and couldn't win any battles anymore, but my health kept being 30 no matter what is that intended?

9. When battling the target dummy no numbers ever showed up for how much damage I did to it.

I feel like the one risk with healing while offline is the game could become like time limited, where you have to wait for health to regen before you can play again, limiting play time.

Maybe either faster regen while online, walk distance regen as well as much slower offline regen.

Idk if Im simply not going about it the right way, but I can find no spawns and I live in Jacksonville FL which is a city (urban with suburban) like area. And my quest wont complete. (I did the quest in which you were suppose to make 3 weak health potions but it never counted them up). So Im thinking it might not be working.
Also how do you go about healing your character?
I think perhaps the tutorial should be expanded at the beginning to cover healing outside of battle and potions or added if that isnt possible.
