Will there be items that can only be found in Dungeons?
Will Dungeons be linear, or with there be some with multiple paths, something that could take a group several hours to explore?

From this it sounds like, once you enter the dungeon, you will see dungeon specific monsters and not any of the Naturally spawning monsters.

There will be path highlighted on the map properly enough for you to know what to follow. Yes there will be items that can be only found in dungeons same as monsters.

So far dungeons are planned to be linear and fairly quick event, maybe for 10-30 minutes. That is mainly because if a player tries hard for 2 hours and then there is a GPS glitch, it would really disappoint him. We need to avoid that.

Cool, I like that there will be a seperation between the dungeon and the outside world, as far as what can be found in there, so now if you want to brew this potion, you either need to explore some dungeons, or have a friend that is willing to do it alot, and share. This could really build "Classes" within the game, the potion maker, the Damage dealer, the explorer, each with their own niche to fill, want that really great potion, well that means you need to get him some ingredients he can't get because he doesn't hunt dungeons that much. Getting really Psyched about the possible group dynamics from this.

I can understand that to begin with, but hopefully you will keep it on the back burner the idea for larger dungeons, that maybe have and area, rather than path, to adjust for the GPS Glitch, that gives you the feeling of exploring a large complex.

So the full Path lights up from the get go like in the screenshot, or does it just light up the next way point until you get there, you you don't see the full path until you get to the final boss? give you the feeling like you are exploring, rather than have it all laid out for you from the get go.

I see a problem with this... As seen in PoGO the GPS is not 100% accurate since the character moves all the time around in a radius of around 10m
So even if you are on the right path you will get kicked out of the dungeon :/

The have stated in another post that they have this "issue" covered, not sure if that is a time delay before it boots you, or a location parameter, that as long as you stay inside you are still "in" the dungeon.

Would be awesome to mix the dungeon with some audio description, kind of like the jogging application where you're escaping from a bunch of zombies ^^

Good point, we can make it reveal as you walk by. Thx!

There is a timeout that allows you to be out for some period of time.

That works out well for those that might have to find an alt path as well, should there be construction or something. Figured it would have to work something like that.
