Issues with the Wand

We are just finding the right balance between these two. The problem is, people expect to be able to cast spells with wrist only which differs very much compared to stiff arm movements.

Looks really cool!

One question though, the picture of the only model available for now is displayed in two color, is the black the only final color available or will we have a choice?

that was partially why I asked, as the normal movements for a wand are different from a staff or even stave, you add in arm movements and they change even more. after thinking about it, a glove would probably be better for mimicking the wand movements with wrist flicks and such. Whereas a staff is more vertical movements versus a wands more horizontal movement. I don't even you and your team trying to distinguish the difference, maybe making 2 profiles, horizontal vs vertical, make it a switch within the settings, but that may add more to the development time.

The way it works now is that we save to the database a set of gestures for every spell. We could make 2 gestures for each spell, one would be for wrist kind of movements and another one would be for stiff hand movements, more suitable for staff etc.

This is definitely doable, but is not one of the higher priorities right now. When there is a little higher demand we will definitely implement it.

Later on we do plan to have many customization options, but can't incorporate that now as it costs extra. If we were able to raise 200k+ there wouldn't be such problem.

so from that picture, the current idea is to change out the Hand grip skin and the 2 metal rings for the top and the bottom right? the style of tip and center handle is what will remain constant for now. so the overall look will remain the same between players, for now, but there will be the option later to change out tips and handles like you show in your other pictures.

You can change the entire outer look: 2x rings, handle, tip, the only remaining thing is the inner module that holds electronics and rechargeable battery. However, right now we have no other skins and that's because molds for plastic injection are pricey and we cannot afford it with current budget. But we will definitely come with more Smile.

If past experience is anything to go on augmented reality games are really hard on the phone battery since they make heavy use of a wide array of device features including GPS, GPU, CPU, Cellular/Wifi data, Bluetooth and similar. It's fairly typical for most ARG's to drain a phone battery in 2-4 hours which is why you can usually identify ARG players by the charging cables coming from their external power banks lol.
