One Mage, slightly inebriated, free to a good home…
Anyone have any good recommendation on which Order I should choose?
I’m basically familiar with Harry Potter, but my background is much more along the lines of the Pen and Paper Mage games, with my default character being a Charisma Tank who can heal and provide comic relief. In Mage I played a member of the Cult of Ecstacy, the carousing party animals of the magic scene.
I’ll probably specialize in Clerical in Category 1 and Charms in Category 2.

I skewered him where he sat and saw the startled expression on his face as the wound began to flame.

"Oh, basely done!" he cried. "I had hoped for better of thee!"

"This isn't exactly the Olympic Games," I said, brushing some sparks from my cloak.

Hey everyone,

Sorry if I missed some kind of introduction thread but just joining the forums now and "within 24 hours" I will be joining the game. I was really interested in the idea of the Order of Enthrallment's kind of "dedication and hard work to try and be the best" mentality but it really seems like that's not a lot of people's perception of that faction which confuses me. If they are just supposed to be power hungry or some kind of royal police as somebody mentioned then I definitely don't want any parts of that but I like the idea of just constantly working to get better which is how I originally read it. Can anyone clarify this or is it kind of open for interpretation?

Thanks,

No one really knows, so it's very much up for interpretation. Only a couple of sentences have actuallu been written about the Orders officially, and they rest is pretty much extrapolated from personal experience.

For me, I make the following associations;

Enthrallment - Nukers
High Moon - Stealthers
Fellowship - Keepers
Circle - Tricksters

However, we won't really know until they release more, and I think some big changes are on the way for the factions for the upcoming Territory Wars, so I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it...
